In lieu of the spin wheel selector at the date entry, could you please change that to an actual month calendar layout?  In other words, you would see a whole calendar month, the user would be able to advance by month/year, and would just select the day.  It would speed up entry a lot!

Thanks.

We were actually looking into this.  The only problem, that we need to figure out how to work around, is that our app supports full rotation.  The calendars work well in portrait mode, but landscape is an issue in months where you have 6 rows of weeks, it doesn't fit.  You will note that not even Apple's calendar app will rotate.  If we can figure out a way to make this work and still look good, we will be adding it.

How about just listing week-by-week?  Then you could finger swipe to move forward or backward.

A week view would be too much work to move quickly.  I think the Month view may even be somewhat of a hassle if you have to move more than a couple months.  We are currently looking into only presenting the calendar view in Portrait mode.  That would solve that problem, but we still have to experiment with this.
