Title: Time Master 2.8 Status
Post by: Adam on March 29, 2010, 09:30:12 pm
We received notice today that our 2.8 version is good to go, but we had to recompile with the "release" version of the developer tools, which just came out today (March 29th).  So it was just resubmitted tonight.  We are not clear on if they will release it soon or hold off until the iPad release date of April 3rd.  I will post more info as I receive it.   ::)

Title: Re: Time Master 2.8 Status "Ready for Sale"

We've just received notice that the Version 2.8 update is "Ready for Sale".  The app is usually available a couple hours after they send us this email, so hopefully it will be ready for you to grab the update within a few hours.

Time Master version 2.8 support the new Apple iPad and the new iPad OS will allow us to "import" data (Quickbooks IIF files) from email attachments.  We are really hoping that Apple will also include this ability on a new iPhone OS.  If they do, it will hopefully just "work" on the iPhone at that point.

Here's a summary of the update:

What's new in version 2.8:
- iPad ready!
- Import Clients, Projects and/or Tasks from Quickbooks IIF files (iPad only at this time).  We hope that Apple will add this ability to the iPhone/iPod Touch in future versions of the OS.
- Fixed problem with CSV exports being truncated.
- Fixed BCC issue when emailing invoices.
- Decimal numbers are now localized.
- Added extra verification to prevent changing a Client on an entry when it is on an invoice.
- Added "Extra Left Margin" offset option for PDF invoices.
- Added filter status row if a filter is set.
