Title: ShotMaxx Trainer and pictures (Android)
Post by: Dre on June 19, 2014, 07:11:01 am
What is the problem with pictures in the ShotMaxx Trainer app for Android?
I have attached some screenshots from the drill window.
I haven’t made any changes to the drills between these screenshots. Sometimes the picture is shown and sometimes it is not shown. Same for the picture in individual drills.

Isn’t there supposed to be a picture on the start screen as well?

I can't even imagine why the picture that is built-in to the app (logo) isn't appearing.  There must be something really odd with your OS?  What version of the Android OS are you using?  Which device?  Which VM?  Is it "rooted"?

The phone is a Samsung S4 (GT-I9505) with Android 4.4.2 installed (bought in Sweden).
Language used in the phone is English.
It's not "rooted".

Are you using the standard Davik VM or did you switch it to ART?

Now that I'm thinking of it, probably what is going on is that the device has run out of memory.  There should be no way that it can't display the "ShotMaxx Trainer" logo.  Perhaps you can try quitting a bunch of apps and see if that helps.  Once the memory is freed up, it should be able to load the pictures and graphics.
