hi,

is there any way of adding your company address and information (e.g. email address, telephone number, registered address) above date and invoice number? I already have a company logo but it doesnt have any of this information on it so i wanted to add it to the top of the invoice and keep the logo.

Also i wanted to add other company information to the bottom of the invoice as a footer like the company number and a message saying 'Thank you for your business'? is there anyway to do this with out adding it to terms?

thanks

What we recommend is this.  Using some sort of graphics program (such as Paint, Photoshop, etc.) create a empty rectangle that is about 1.5" high and 8" wide.  Inside that rectangle put your Logo, Address, contact info, etc.  Save that as a JPG or PNG and email it to your device.  Then in the email, tap and hold on the attachment and then do Copy.  Next launch Time Master and go to Setup -> Invoicing -> Companies -> (select your company) -> Export Settings -> Header and then set Mode to Image and in the Image box, double tap to bring up Paste and Paste in your graphic.  Then Done, Done and Save.

You can put text in the the bottom box by using the Terms.  Create a Terms item that has the text in it that you want.  Set that Terms item in the Client record and whenever you create a new Invoice, it will automatically select that Terms and fill in the text.

No you do not.  Just Sync your new iPad in iTunes and it (should) install all the apps.  If for some reason it does not bring the data across, just do a Backup from your iPhone and Restore to your iPad.  The free secure Dropbox method works really well!  Setup -> Database -> Online Backup & Restore.  Sign in or sign up.  We HIGHLY recommend doing a Backup before doing any update to iOS and even before updating Time Master incase Apple's update fails for some reason, you can alway restore if you do a Backup first.  BTW, you'll love the iPad!  Smiley

(Shameless plug).  You may want to consider the optional Synchronization module.  We developed that when the iPad came out because so many people wanted to Sync their iPhone and iPad.  I use it myself.  I like using the iPad in the office because of the bigger screen, but if I'm on the road, I always have my iPhone with me.  When I get back to the office, I sync the two over Wi-Fi (note you can also do it via Bluetooth if no Wi-Fi is available).  That way you don't have to worry about Backing up one device and then Restoring to the other and then wondering if you remember to do a Backup beforehand, etc.
